28 Weeks
Total Weight Gain– Up 19.4 pounds now, you are growing like a weed!!
Cravings– Well, with the gestational diabetes scare of this week, I am going to be much more careful about any kind of sweets (except for the brownies and lemon bars that a vendor at work brought us for free. Who am I to pass up free food?). Still eating lots of fruits 
Sleep- Sleep is okay, I probably wake up like 8 times a night for one reason or another, I’m sure it’s only going to get worse from here!
Symptoms- Yep, still heartburn. I am also feeling a lot “puffier.” Your Dad bought me a ring at an art show this weekend that can replace my wedding rings for the remainder of my pregnancy. The ring is way too big on me right now, so we’ve contacted the lady who made it, and she’s going to make me a size smaller one too. The funny thing is, the ring that is ginormously too big is only a size 7, which is the average woman’s ring size. I must just have really small fingers normally.
Nursery Update- Still waiting on nursery furniture *sigh*
Baby Update- This week you weigh around 2.25 pounds, and are around 14.8 inches long. You can blink your eyes in reaction to light. You are continuing to fatten up, and your brain is developing billions of neurons. If you were born right now, you’d have an 80-90% chance of survival (don’t get any wise ideas- you staying inside baking for 11+ more weeks Mr. Man!) You are still SO active, the other night at dinner, your Dad could see you moving through my dress from the other side of the table. This weekend we were in Louisville celebrating 10 years together (more on that later!) and it was the first time your Uncles, Michael and Joey, and your Aunt Kay (your uncle Michael’s wife) had got to see you move. Your Auntie Katie was also there, and I had to pry her face off of my belly in the middle of the restaurant so people didn’t think we were weird! Later that weekend I pulled my shirt up over my belly, so everyone could see, and you really put on a performance…. it looked like you were doing the worm! Everyone yelled when they saw you squirming, even from across the room!!! You are such a big boy now, and I have a feeling you are going to come out ready to PARTY!
Your Dad and I did this cool little calculator thing this weekend that supposedly determines what your eye color is going to be, I’m sure it’s not exact, especially since my eyes are hazel and I had to choose brown or green (I chose brown), but it’s fun nonetheless! Apparently you have a 40% chance of blue eyes, a 10% chance of green eyes, and a 50% chance of brown eyes. Cool!
