Soooo this is the week that we “try to make a baby.”  Ovulation is a GO, I repeat, Ovulation is a GO. 

Holy Moly!  I can’t believe it.    After lots of practice, hopefully we can get it right (HA- sorry, Dad!).   Because of working in a fertility clinic, I definitely know how to time everything right and give myself the best chance of getting knocked up.  However,  I’m a bit afraid of Murphy’s Law…..  all these women get pregnant accidentally or in the first month of trying without having the slightest idea what they’re doing.  So I’m sure that it’ll turn out that me, an embryologist, probably will take forever.  Uggggg.    Rationally I know that there is only a 20% chance of normal, healthy couples getting pregnant each month, but honestly, that doesn’t change the fact that I REALLY want it to happen the first month.   I guess only time will tell.  Cheers (with a non-alcoholic beverage) to being impatient!
