From the moment we found out we were pregnant with you, we were filled with joy. With your mother, Lucas, and now you… my family feels complete. After weeks of referring to you as, “It”, we finally found out that you were a girl. We were really hoping for a girl, so we were thrilled when the nurse told us the gender. Even more thrilling, was the fact that we could give you a name, and stop calling you, “It”. I think the name we chose is not only beautiful, but special in that it honors our families as well.

I’m very excited to be back in the infant stages of parenthood. There is something so wonderful about your own little baby lying in your arms, and I can’t wait to hold you. Oh, and please forgive me if I’m a bit overprotective of you… I’m already just so in love with you; I can’t imagine anything but happiness and love filling your life.

Also, you are being a little tough on your mother, so if you can, try to make it easier on her. She works very hard to keep you safe and healthy, and I hate to see her not feeling well. Maybe ease back on the nausea a bit…
