Hi Baby Boy!

Every year we go down to Tennesee to celebrate Christmas with Daddy’s family in mid-December.  You got to meet SO many new people.  You got to meet your Gramma and Papa Mike (Daddy’s Mom and Step-Dad), your Granny Pat (Daddy’s Step-Mom),  Uncle B.J. and Aunt Mischele (Daddy’s brother and his fiancée), your cousins, Chelsea, Dylan, Tyler, Chase and Dakota, and lots of friends (like Pam, Jackie, Amy, Jimmy Dell, Shawn Parker, Benton, Raymond, and Ed!)     Of course, you got loved on by people who had already met you before but were so excited to see how big you’ve gotten like your Grandaddy, Aunt Jera, Uncle Kevin and cousins Camron and Nathan.

You were in such a good mood all weekend, and smiled for everyone.  It made me so proud to be your Mom.

You may be wondering how in the world we survived the drive down.  We waited to leave until you had fallen asleep for the night, and left Lexington about 9:30pm, and drove straight through to Aunt Jera & Uncle Kevin’s house and you slept the whole way!! Although since we had to drive so late, and we didn’t get there till 12:45am, me and Dad were SO tired.   It was a good solution for your screaming in the car, but also I never really recovered and felt tired all weekend long.   Hopefully you will grow out of hating the car, so we can just drive down after work like normal one day!
