Hey Wuuucas Walter,

You were 7 weeks old on Thursday….amazing!  I know I keep saying it, but I just can NOT believe how fast you are growing.  And you are such a sweet kid.  You are starting to sleep longer stretches at night Wooooooo!!!  You’re still not sleeping through the entire night yet, but I feel like we’re moving in that direction!

Your grammy came and visited again,  you love to smile at your her!  After we hung out at home for awhile, we took you up to meet Daddy’s coworkers.

You are still not a fan of your carseat unless the car is moving.   Stop signs and red lights remain your arch-enemy.

Your nails are like razors, and you keep scratching your face (as evidenced by the photos below).  I try to trim them, but it doens’t really work very well.

You still are not a fan of tummy time, but are getting better at it.  Here’s your sad, “I can’t believe you did this to me” look, but then you rallied and raised your head:

Of course, your Grammy and Poppy bought you a new Louisville outfit since you already outgrew your other one.  You’re wearing it today in honor of the second game of the season.

On Thursday and Friday your nanny, Elyse, officially started.  She spent all day with us so she could watch me and learn the things you like and don’t like.   She fed you, changed you, rocked you, talked to you, and sang to you like a pro.  You seemed to really like her, and even fell asleep on her without throwing a fit to come back to me.  I think you guys are going to be good buddies
