Hey My Man,

On Thursday I pumped some milk for you into a bottle, and Daddy got to feed you for the very first time!  How sweet   You ate it like a champ, with no confusion over it being from a bottle instead of from me.    We did this little experiment because today I left the house for the first time without you!   Mommy’s first time away from you since you were born (to go to your Auntie Julie’s wedding shower).  It went really well.  Dad said he had no problems.   That’s a relief!    From here on out Dad will be feeding you one bottle a day, to get you used to having bottles when I have to go back to work.  I am hoping to pump extra milk for you, so we have a freezer stash as well.
