Hey my man!
You are 3 weeks old today, time is FLYING by!! It makes me sad to see how fast you’re growing up, but happy all at the same time. You are noticeably bigger, and have officially outgrown your newborn diapers and all of your newborn clothes. On Monday Dad had to go back to work, and we were so, so upset to see him go. He has been such a great help that it’s a big adjustment when he’s not here during the day. We both miss him a lot. Luckily he only works 1.5 miles up the street, so at lunch time he brings me food, and gets to snuggle with you before he has to go back to work. We love that man!

You smile all the time in your sleep. You are beginning to try to smile when we talk to you, but haven’t quite mastered it. Here is an adorable little video of you attempting to smile at your Dad:

You are still a really chill baby, but have started having some gas pains. And you also get really mad when you are trying to poop. The pediatrician said it’s probably from the vitamin D drops that I have to give you. Hopefully it will get better for you! Yesterday your Uncle Michael, Grammy, and Aunt Katie came to visit, and we took you out to your first dinner out. It was stressful on me because I was worried about possible germs, and wanted to get home before it was time for you to eat again. We got back to the house just in time! You were a complete angel at dinner, your Grammy held you until the food got there, and then we just put you in your car seat and you slept for the entire meal.
You’ve also had some more visitors this week, and I’m sure you’ll continue to get more as the weeks go by.
