Dear Sis,

Welcome to 2016.  You had a blast ringing in the New Year at your friends’ Lyric and Piper’s house.  You didn’t waste any time this month reaching milestones. On 1/9/16 you stood on your own in one place, on 1/15/16, at a little over 10.5 months old,  you took your first step by yourself (we even got it on video!  You were SO proud of yourself), and on 1/19/16 you took 6 steps!    You’ve been climbing over our blockades in the living room, which is something that Lucas, Rylie and Graham didn’t do until they were closer to 2!  You love playing with your bruddy, and Daddy, and insist on holding swords and sword fighting if that’s what they’re doing, or playing music, or dancing, or playing cars, or anything for that matter!  You love to be part of the gang.    You are VERY social, and friendly.   Your best buddy is Lincoln, and you two get in lots of trouble at Elyse’s together.

This month you got to hang out with PopPop and Dammy a lot, which of course you loved.  You also had a blast at Graham’s 3rd birthday party, where you got to go on your first trampoline, and even ride in a power wheel with Lukie.  We buckled you in next to him, and you loved riding around the yard, even though whenever he let off the brake you would almost hit the dashboard hahaha.   I spent my first night (actually it was 4 nights), and I was SOOOOOO sad to leave you.  I had a consulting job down in Knoxville, so I went down on a Wednesday night, Daddy was supposed to bring you and Lucas to me on Friday night and all of us stay in the hotel together for the weekend, but a huge snowstorm hit (18+ inches in Lexington!!!), and the roads closed down.  I was so so so upset to be away from you guys.  You were very happy to see me when I got home.  Lots of hugs and cuddles, and mamamamamamamamamama!

This month you were in the Dr’s office several times with ear infections poor sweetie, and at the beginning of the month you weighed 16 lbs 10 oz, and by the end of the month you weight 17lbs 7 oz.   You still love being a big girl, and playing with everything your brother does.  You love looking out of the front window and watching what’s going on outside.  You love your Elyse, your buddy Lincoln, your bubba, your Daddy, but most of all your Mama!  I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have a Mama’s girl  I love you sweet beauty.  I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2016 has for us!
