So, you are here now baby girl. I’d forgotten how many diapers there are and how many hours of sleep I would lose. You are more beautiful than I could have imagined. Sometimes at night, when you are wide awake at 1:00 in the morning, you will just sit in my arms and stare up at me, eyes wide open. Sometimes, you even appear to smile. Those are the moments that make all the sleep deprivation and getting poop on my hands worth it. Having a daughter is wonderful and scary. I’ll do whatever I have to keep you happy and safe.  I love you, and I’m enjoying every second of your life.
