Hi my baby Lucas Walter,

August was a pretty chill month for you after the excitement of turning 2 last month.  We went to the state fair, and you loved it!  It’s so much fun to watch the enjoyment that you get out of experiences.  You loved the sheep and would Baaaaaaa to them.  You also like the cows and pigs but not as much as the sheep.  You loved all the kids activities of going through the exhibits and walking through buses, and arts and crafts etc etc.   You especially loved getting to watch the dancers and live band.  Oh! And you got to play your first ever round of mini-golf at the fair.  When you got the ball in the hole, it was so funny because you would triumphantly hold your club in the air.  How did you even learn that? Haha!

Some of your other fascinations are hats- you love to wear hats.  You also love to “drive” the car,  and you love fire trucks.  Actually you love any type of large vehicle.  You also love taking pictures.  Or pretending to take them.   In fact, there’s not many activities I can think of that you don’t like!  You’re just an all around happy kid.
