So, for my 30th birthday my AWESOME husband threw me a surprise party.  All my family and friends were there (except my mom, who had to fly out with my grandma).    I am so so lucky to have such a thoughtful man in my life (and an awesome friend, Julie, who had the party at her house and helped with all the preparations).   

There was a copious amount of drinking (see the cow rug picture starring Jessica below as evidence).   SO, I had to come up with a clever way to not let everyone know I wasn’t drinking.    This was harder than it seems due to the fact that I was the Birthday Girl.    We ended up getting a Smirnoff Ice and emptying it out and filling it with water so I could carry that around with me.  My youngest brother called me out on it though.  Why the hell is everyone looking so close at my drink AH!  So then I replaced the water with 7-up so that it would have some carbonation.  

Anyways, I’m not sure if I was fooling anyone, but hopefully it will still be a surprise when I announce I’m pregnant (whenever that may be!)
