Lucas, this week was a defining moment in your life. This week, you demonstrated that you are a free thinking individual, not to be swayed by the siren songs of evil, sang by the women in your life. “Mommy”, they all would say, but you stood strong and silent. “Say mama”,  over and over again, but you were not tempted. For this week, you boldly stated, I am my own man, my first word will be, “Dada”! “Dadadaadaada”!

Thats right, this week you said “dada” for the first time. You mom and I were both there to hear it, and I’m pretty sure it made us both tear up. Hearing your son speak his first word is an incredible feeling, but having that first word  be “dada”, is indescribable. I love you; thanks for looking out for Dad!
